Lucille (Ethridge) Running

Mrs. Lucille Ethridge Running, 78, of Albany, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 22, 2011 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Reverend Randall Culberson will officiate and interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Albany. Born December 22, 1932 in Baker County, Mrs. Running was the daughter of the late Charles Ethridge and Carrie Dias Ethridge. She loved flowers and her friends and previous pets were her life. Mrs. Running was of the Baptist faith. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother sister and friend. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Running was preceded in death by her husband, Mark F. Running, Jr. Survivors include two sons, Mark C. Running and Gary M. Running both of Albany; daughter, Angel Davis and son-in-law, Frank of Pelham; brother, Mack Ethridge and sister-in-law, Chris of Ashburn; sisters, Hazel Slagle and brother-in-law, Robert of Albany and Brenda Green; special pets that she considered grandchildren, Woody and “Tiny Man”; grandchildren, Emily Skinner and Amy Davis, and several nieces and nephews The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
