Marian Lillian Hatcher

Marian Lillian Hatcher, 82, of Baconton, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at home. Graveside funeral services for the family only, will be conducted Thursday, May 28, 2020, at Floral Memory Gardens. Born December 6, 1937 in Mitchell County, Ms. Hatcher was the daughter of the late Andrew Hatcher and Clotil Gray Herring. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper and in her free time enjoyed working in her garden and spending time with her family. Ms. Hatcher was also known for her love of chocolate. She was a proud honorary member of the Eastern Star. A wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her children, Mytra McLeod and her husband David of Baconton, Delvin Hatcher and his wife Missy of Coleman; six grandchildren, Heather Adams (Tommy), David McLeod Jr. (Deb), Stephanie Mulford (Justin), Waylon Hatcher, Kimberley Carter (Garrett), Andrew Hatcher; 16 great-grandchildren; and her beloved brother, Leon Hatcher (Linda) Hall & Hall Funeral Home was given the honor to care for the Hatcher family.
