Michael Scott Logan, 34, of Albany, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2009 at his home. Funeral services honoring the life of Michael will be conducted Friday, October 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Reverend Dan Harris will officiate with interment to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Adel. Michael Scott Logan was born January 10, 1975 in Albany to Joey E. Logan and Shirley Harrell Logan. A 1993 graduate of Dougherty High, Michael was an intelligent young man who enjoyed working with computers. His life was baseball from an early age and it was well known that he had a great arm. Michael was drafted right out of high school by the Florida Marlins, but was unable to continue his life long dream due to unfortunate events. He played baseball at Middle Georgia College on a scholarship and attended the University of Georgia. Michael really enjoyed the outdoors and loved hunting and fishing. He will be greatly missed by all of his many friends and family. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Joey E. Logan; son, Conner Logan; paternal grandparents, Elmer and Emma Logan; and maternal grandfather, Richard Harrell. Survivors include his mother, Shirley Harrell Logan of Albany; grandmother, Mae Harrell of Albany and formerly of Adel; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sonya Lesieur and her husband, Jon of Albany and Belinda Lewis and her husband, Tommy of Tallahassee, FL.; nieces and nephews, Easton, Quaide, Alicia, Tiffany, and Jenna; great-nieces and a great-nephew, Payton, Taylor, Madison, Ainsley, Kherington and Evan; several aunts, uncles and many cousins. The family will receive friends at Hall and Hall Funeral Home from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2009.
