Mrs. Agnes Janes Dauphinais, 63, of Albany, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021, at Phoebe North Medical Center. Services honoring her life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 3, 2021, at Andersonville National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Steven Robert Dauphinais, Sr. Born on August 28, 1958, in Tallahassee, FL, Mrs. Dauphinais was the daughter of the late Paul and Angeline Harrell Janes. She was a homemaker most of her life and took great pride in caring for her family. She had a special love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an open-hearted person who never met a stranger and always had a smile. She enjoyed the beach, arts, and crafts. In addition to her parents and husband, Agnes was preceded in death by her brothers, Clinton Janes and James Williams. Survivors include her children, Steven Robert Dauphinais, Jr. of Albany and Andrea Dauphinais of Albany; grandchildren, Victoria and Gene Harden, Kelsey Barber, Austin Senn and Amber Senn; great-grandchildren, Cotton and Waylon Harden, Kynlee Peterman and Kaylee Gause; siblings, Mary Davis, Darlene Abney, Shirley Medders, Lacy Sanders; sister-in-law, Sue Ann Janes; a host of beautiful nieces and nephews and friends she considered family.
