Mr. Andrew J. “Jack” Floyd, 68, of Leesburg, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014. Memorial services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 19, 2014 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 435 Dunbar Lane Albany, GA. 31701. Born February 7, 1946 in South Carolina, Mr. Floyd was the son of the late Samuel A. Floyd and Carrie Powell Floyd. He retired from Lance Inc. as branch manager and was currently employed with Lee County Transportation Department. He was a ministerial servant with the Century congregation. Survivors include his wife, Lindsey “Lynn” Floyd; two sons, Chris Floyd of Spartanburg, S.C. , Randy Floyd (Paige) of Dublin, GA; one daughter, Amy Turner (Brad) of Thomasville, GA; grandchildren, Brooklyn Floyd of Dublin, G.A, Jordan Floyd of Hot Springs, N.C, Cole Floyd of Spartanburg, S.C, Emma Floyd of Dublin, GA; two sisters, Mary Floyd of Georgetown, S.C. and Linda McGee of Timmonsville, S.C; two brothers, David Floyd of New Zion S.C. and Alpha Floyd of Timmonsville, S.C; uncle, Robert Powell of Kingstree, S.C; mother-in-law, Margie Smith of Orangeburg, S.C. and many friends.
