Anita L. Gambrell

Anita Louise Gambrell, 55, of Albany, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services honoring the life of Mrs. Gambrell will be conducted Monday, September 21, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home in Albany, GA. Reverend Robin Chaplin will officiate with interment to follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Albany. Anita Louise Gambrell was born March 16, 1954 in Rock Hill, S.C to Ernest C. Gambrell and Reba Lewis Gambrell. Anita was a kind-hearted lady that loved everyone. She enjoyed working at Wal-Mart in Albany for the past 10 years where she never met a stranger. Her love for her family especially her grandchildren will never be forgotten. She was of the Baptist Faith. Anita was preceded in death by her daughter, Alicia Marie Gambrell father, Ernest C. Gambrell and brothers, Ernest C. Gambrell, Jr., Ricky C. Gambrell and Robert W. Gambrell.nbsp;Survivors include her Mother, Reba Lewis Gambrell of Rock Hill, SC; sons, Michael Stone, Thomas Stone both of Albany and Samuel Stone of Denver, NC; daughter, Julia Murphy of Hawkinsville; brother, Randy Lewis of Whitmire, SC; sisters, Cindy Lockridge of Indiana, Libby McKEE of Whitmire, SC and Barbara Rhodes of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Chris, Dalton, J.P.. Tyler, Haley, Andrew and Triston and several friends including her Albany Wal-Mart Family.
