Anthony Thomas 'Tony' Lasalle

Mr. Anthony “Tony” Thomas Lasalle, 69, of Albany, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church. Father Raymond Levreault will officiate with interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. Born April 25, 1945 in Utica, N.Y., Mr. Lasalle was the son of the late Thomas Joseph Lasalle and Stella Sokolowski Lasalle. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was currently working at the Marine Corps Logistic Base. Mr. Lasalle was a member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church and The Knights of Columbus. He will be remembered as a devout Catholic, devoted husband, and loving family man. He loved his dog, Patches and enjoyed walking him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lasalle was preceded in death by his brother, Bill; sister, Marian and nephew, Michael. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of over 46 years, Diane Spring Lasalle of Albany; son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Kimberly Lasalle of Putney; daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Blair Stone of Putney, Michelle and Michael Bates of Albany, Kristi and Wade Stephens of Leesburg; brothers and a sister-in-law, Thomas and Bestsy Lasalle of Whitesboro, N.Y., Paul Lasalle of New York Mills, N.Y. and Christopher Lasalle of Gloversville, N. Y.; grandchildren, Matt and Ashley, Taylor, Mark, Hannah, McKenzie, Michael, Kenneth, Craig, Haley, Christian, Parker, Wade, Brandon, Bridget, Joseph, Triston, Erica, Braiden and Kadyn; great-grandchildren, Jase, Gabriel and Savanna. A rosary service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, June 30, 2014 with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
