Austin Gage Payne

Austin Gage Payne, 15, of Albany, was taken too soon from this life on Sunday, November 1, 2026, just days before his 16th birthday.

Born on November 12, 2010, in Albany, Austin worked on a Plantation where he enjoyed riding the tractor and fixing things. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors and often could be found fishing, hunting and riding four-wheelers. He was of the Christian faith and will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Kimberly Payne of Albany; sister, Aubree Payne of Albany; Kimberly’s boyfriend, Jamie Doyle; his father, Anthony Windows; maternal grandmother, Nita Rose of Doerun; paternal grandmother, Marie Spargo of Reidsville; maternal great-grandparents, J.C. and Mary Scott of Albany; uncles, Michael Windows and Austin Coleman; great-uncles, Chris Scott, Tony Scott, and Butch Rogers; aunt, Brie Coleman; great-aunts, Sissy Rogers and Allie Scott; and close cousins, Savannah and Caleb.

Arrangements for his service are pending and will be announced soon.
