Bettie Stuart Paul

February 24, 1948 — March 24, 2025

Albany

Bettie Stuart Paul, 77, of Albany, peacefully passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

The family will host a memorial service honoring her life at a later date.

Born February 24, 1948, in Hattiesburg, MS, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Stuart and Alice Louise Hatcher. Ms. Bettie worked for many years at McGregor Golf where she retired after many faithful years. In her free time her favorite thing to do was go shopping. She had a knack for finding valuable items during her thrifting adventures and loved collecting pocketbooks. She enjoyed watching old westerns and sitting on her front porch but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. A wonderful mother, “Bae Bae,” sister, and friend, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Debbie Graves, Melissa Ford, Tracey Boyd, and Kristie Shelley and Chris; grandchildren, Dennis Williams and Michelle, Sherrie Graves, Robert Graves and Kiersten, Ronnie Paul and Felicia, and Kameron and Karsynn Shelley; great grandchildren, Justin, Emilee, Noah, Grayson, Layton, Taylor, Reagan, and R.J.; siblings, Len Stuart, Ted Stuart, Brenda Stuart, and Sherry Cooper; and a host of extended family members and friends.

Hall and Hall Funeral Home was given the honor to serve Ms. Bettie’s family.
