Betty Jean (Brock) Harper

Mrs. Betty Jean Harper, 68 of Albany passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family on July 22, 2013. Mrs. Harper was born July 30, 1944 in Meigs, GA to the late J.L. Brock Sr. and Mary Hurst Brock Warren. Mrs. Harper worked for Firestone for many years. She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and daughter. Survivors include her mother, Mary Warren; her daughters and sons-in-law, Georgia S. Bynum Estevez of Alabama, Mary J. Bynum Cross and Mike of Sylvester, Sybrina D. Bynum Matkin and Jimmy of Albany; her brothers, J.L. Brock Jr. of Columbus and C.B. Brock of Meigs; her sister, Darlene Goodman of Anderson City; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren. At her request, Mrs. Harper was cremated and a private service will be held by her family at a later date.
