Betty Lucille (Sommers) Wilson

Mrs. Betty Lucille Wilson, 76, of Albany, passed away, Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Services honoring the life of Mrs. Wilson will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 15, 2013 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Reverend Robin Chaplin will officiate. Born July 6, 1936 in Jacksonville, FL, Mrs. Wilson was the daughter of the late Percy Sommers and the late Katie Crews Sommers. She enjoyed cooking and fishing and loved all of her family. She was of the Christian faith and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother sister and friend. Survivors include her husband, Grover Wilson; son, David Paul (Piper) Johnson of Cleveland, GA; daughter, Angela J (Richard) Turner of Gordon, GA; brother, Earl (Pearl) Crews of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Ailene Rigdon and Maisie (Leon) Baggs all of Jacksonville, FL; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
