Mrs. Billie Jean Threatte, 91, of Albany, peacefully passed away on Wednesday morning, October 23, 2024, at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Morningside Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior. Entombment will follow at the Crown Hill Mausoleum. Rev. Janice Reeves Masters will officiate.
Born November 18, 1932, in Clayton, AL, Mrs. Threatte was the daughter of the late Mon Foy Weston and Willie Mae Gann Weston. She was a loving and devoted homemaker who cared well for her family. She loved cooking, working with flowers in her yard, and ceramics. She also loved children and teaching them in Sunday School and during VBS. Most of all she loved God, her family and will be greatly missed.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Alice Lynn Hartman and Ray of Tucker, GA, Carolyn Threatte of Albany, and Suzanne Smith and Buck of Leesburg; 4 grandchildren, Brenna, Nicholas, Michelle, and Tommy, and 8 great-grandchildren.
