Binton Mclendon

Mr. Binton McLendon, 59, of Albany, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Binton was born on June 28, 1950 in Colquitt, GA, son of the late Joe Tom McLendon and Rebecca Loyless McLendon. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church, enjoyed walking and loved his entire family. He is survived by his children, Mandy McLendon, Angel McLendon, Hope McLendon and Roger McLendon; brothers, David McLendon of Iron City, Carol McLendon of Bainbridge and twin brother, Hinton McLendon of Albany; sisters, Dorothy Martin of Albany, Pat Hughes and Brenda Wilson both of Fort Gaines; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close friends. Services honoring the life of Binton will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Monday, March 8, 2010 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Wrights Chapel Cemetery in Worth County. Reverend Frank Hughes will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
