Brittany Nicole Cornell

Brittany Nicole Cornell, 29, of Sylvester, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.

Graveside funeral services will be private for the family only.

Born May 10, 1993, in Albany, Brittany was the daughter of Milton Richard “Rick” and Helen Marie Cornell. After high school she attended college where she earned her certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Brittany was a loving mother who adored her babies more than anything. She was kind, caring, compassionate, and always made others feel welcomed and understood. She never met a stranger and in her free time enjoyed painting. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Liberty Baptist Church. A beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, she will be greatly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rick Cornell.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two boys, Jace Michael Murfin and Devin Wade McCluskey of Sylvester; mother, Marie Cornell of Sylvester; siblings, Jason Richard Cornell (Abby) of Lee County, Jeremy Ray Cornell of Florida, and Savannah Cornell of Tifton; maternal grandmother, Trellie Stewart of Sylvester; paternal grandmother, Nancy Cornell of Virginia; nephew and niece, JJ Cornell and Callie McCluskey both of Sylvester; and her uncle, Bill Cornell of Virginia.
