Carrie Ruth (South) Cooper

Mrs. Carrie Ruth Cooper, 70, of Albany, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Willson Hospice. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 7, 2013 in the Chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Reverend Dan Story will officiate. Born August 6, 1943 in Akron Ohio, Mrs. Cooper was the daughter of the late William F. and the late Betsy M. South. Mrs. Cooper was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Worth County and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend as well as being a most caring, loving, open hearted and strong willed person. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Leo Cooper who passed away on August 6, 2010. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Wayne T. and Elizabeth Cooper of Albany; her daughter Shelly Angerame of Leesburg; her grandchildren, Anthony Cooper, Michael Cooper, Jacob Jones, Adam Cooper, Rodney Cooper, Austin Gilmore, and Haley Angerame; great-grandchildren, Payton Cooper, Michael Cooper, Jr., John Cooper, and Jonah Johnson. The family will receive friends Friday, September 6, 2013 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Hall Hall Funeral Home.
