Carroll E. Sweat

Mr. Carroll E. Sweat 64, of Sylvester passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Mr. Sweat was born April 29, 1954 in Albany, GA to the late Arthur J. Sweat and Frances Tyson Sweat. He was a welder/fabricator by trade and was self-employed. Mr. Sweat loved cooking for others including Fund Raising events. He also enjoyed fishing and playing the guitar and had a passion for riding his Harley. He loved his family and will be missed greatly by them all. Survivors include: his wife, Susan; his daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Michael Hooten of Sylvester; his son, Jamie Sweat of Albany; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Diane and Phillip Milling, Mary and Chuck Gaughf, all of Albany, Marty and Jerry Johnson of Valdosta, and Karen and Darien Pridgen of Sylvester; six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother Dwayne. The family will be gathering at his daughter Kim’s home at 901 Cordele Road, Sylvester, GA and they will receive friends following the memorial service.
