Mr. Charlie Frank Turner, Sr., 79, of Albany, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2019, in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Rev. Gene Snipes will be officiating. Following the service, Mr. Turner will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Jacqueline Clark Turner at Floral Memory Gardens. Military Honors will be presented by The United States Navy. Born April 28, 1939, in Colquitt County, GA, Mr. Turner was the son of the late M.C. and Pearl Greer Turner. He proudly served in The United States Navy on The U.S.S. PINE ISLAND. He also retired from the City of Albany Fire Department as Captain with twenty-six years of service. Mr. Turner was also Co-Owner of Albany Floral and Gifts. He very much enjoyed old westerns, old country music, and playing his guitar. He was Baptist by faith and will be greatly missed. Survivors include his children, Chuck Turner and Crissy of Sylvester, Ken Turner and Marcy of Leesburg and Lynn Terry and Todd Whitehead of Albany; grandchildren, Chris, Jordan, Kinsley, Marley and Cadie and 3 great-grandchildren, Branson, Hayze and Ashtyn. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.hallandhallfh.com.
