Coty Lee Davis, 30, of Albany, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021. Arrangements are pending and will be announced later by Hall and Hall. Coty was born October 13, 1991, in Albany to Samuel Bernard Leach and Tracy Davis Dent. Coty worked as a carpenter in the construction industry for many years. He was known as the life of party and was always laughing. He loved to joke around, play cards, and was an all-around wonderful person with a heart of gold. Coty’s biggest passion in life was fishing and his family will always remember him with a pole in his hand doing what he loved to do. A beloved son, brother, and friend, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Bernard Leach of Danville, Virginia. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother and step-father, Tracy and Doug Dent of Albany; siblings, Dawn Crosby (Kevin) of Atlanta, Sammy Bohlmann (Jen) of SC, Clay Dent (Misty) of Albany, Seria Hatcher (Waylon) of Mitchell County, Justin Day of Albany, Courtney Leach (Hunter Plymel) of Mitchell County, Victoria Pollk (Jason Walsh) of Baconton, Austin Dent of Albany, and Kyle Dent (Margaret Peacock) of Albany; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family that loved him dearly.
