David Jackson Wilson

David Jackson Wilson, 40, of Oakfield, passed away Monday, December 6, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 9, 2010 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. The Reverend Charles McCardle will officiate with interment to follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Sylvester. David was born January 14, 1970 in Germany, son of Don Jackson Wilson and Yvonne Price Turner. He worked for many years as a warehouse manager, was an avid Nascar fan and was of the Baptist faith. David was a humorous person who enjoyed making people laugh and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife, Kellie Wacter Wilson of Oakfield; daughter, Miranda Nicole Wilson; mother, Yvonne Price Turner; father, Don Jackson Wilson; step-children, Megan and Matthew Ridlon; brother, Dennis Wilson and his wife, Shannon of Lee County; two step-grandchildren, Bentley Ridlon and Wyatt Boggs; nephew, Dominick Wilson and niece, Wynema Wilson. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
