Deloris W. (Collins) Berry

Deloris W. Berry, 46, of Putney, passed away Tuesday May 10, 2011 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Putney. Deloris was born on May 13, 1964 to Russell F. Collins and Marjorie L. Seals Collins who preceded her in death. Deloris was a member of the First Baptist Church of Putney. She held an Associates Degree in Bio-Medical Engineering from Albany Technical School where she also taught Computer Classes and volunteered in the Adult Literacy program. Deloris always lived for her children and grandchildren who she dearly loved. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother John L. Covington. Survivors include: her daughters, Danelle Berry Howell and her husband Nicholas of Oklahoma City, OK, and Leha May Berry of Albany; her step son, Sean Berry and his wife Donna of Hawkinsville; her brothers, Bruce E. Covington and Cathy Bradley of Putney, Mark A. Covington and Bobbie of St. Simons Island, Thomas E. Collins of St. Marys, Russell F Collins Jr. of Augusta, and Walter R. Collins of Mobile, AL; her grandsons, Nicholas Burke Howell and Gage Allen Howell. The family will receive friends following the service at the First Baptist Church in Putney.
