Diane Williams Barber, 54, of Albany, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Saturday, November 14, 2009. A service celebrating her life will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at The Commons Church located at 3014 Sylvester Road Albany Georgia 31705. Reverend Mark Knight will officiate and interment will be at 3:00 p.m. in the Lakeview Cemetery in Phenix City, AL. Mrs. Barber was born February 3, 1955, in Phenix City, AL, daughter of Jimmy Williams and Sandra Koon Williams. She was a kind-hearted lady who lived her life to serve others. She was a member of The Commons Church, over the Jail ministry and was a member of the Christian Motorcyclist Association. Diane will be remembered as an intercessor in prayer for her brothers and sisters in the Lord. Her life was the church and Christ was the center of her life along with her family. Survivors include her husband, Mark Barber of Albany; mother, Sandra Williams; children, GySgt Heith Bradburn and his wife, Shelly of Jacksonville, NC, Summer Johnson and her husband, Todd of Kansas City, MO, Crystal Scott and her husband, Brannon of Pensacola, FL, Cody Barber and his wife, Maranda of Albany; brothers, Jimmy, Dewayne and David; sister, Debra; grandchildren, Joshua, Tyler, Kody, Taylor, Trevor, Josiah, Hope, Sierra, Nathaniel and Elijah; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Ed Barber and Mary Barber of Albany.
