Mr. Donald Steve Burnham, 62, of Leesburg passed away on December 30, 2018, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Hall and Hall Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. At the request of Mr. Burnham his remains will be cremated following the visitation. Mr. Burnham was born in Moultrie on November 10, 1956, to the late Raybon H. Burnham and Bonnie Taylor Burnham. Following an automobile accident caused by a DUI driver, Steve was confined to a wheelchair since the age of 27, however he did not allow his disability to deter him from living full life. He enjoyed working with old and antique cars and selling parts from them. Steve was an avid participant on social media and enjoyed playing cards. He loved his family and friends and was loved by them in return. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Michael (Crystal) Burnham of Gulfport, MS and Christopher (Meme) Burnham of Ocean Springs, MS; his daughter, Rachel Tew of Putney; his sister and brother-in-law, Shelia (Peyton) Rheney of Leesburg; his brothers, Timothy Burnham of Gainesville, and Tracy Burnham of Albany; his eleven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
