Donald Wayne "Donnie" Price

Mr. Donald Wayne Price (Donnie) of Mitchell County, transitioned to his heavenly home on November 27, 2021. Throughout his extended illness, he continued to show the love of Jesus to others through his smiles and daily phone check-ins. Donnie was not often heard complaining, but would almost always tell you that he was blessed when he woke up that morning. A Celebration of Life service will be held at his residence in Mitchell County on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to celebrate his home going with his family. Since Donnie was an avid roper for many years, we encourage you to wear your “cowboy” attire. This will be an outside event and COVID precautions will be followed. Bro. Mylan Brookins and Bro. David Williams will officiate. Donnie will be joined in heaven one day by his wife, Nina Willis Price. Other survivors include his daughter, Jenifer Price Brown(Jarrad) and grandson, Logan Brown, sisters Joann Bruce, Linda Cochran (Carl) and brothers, Robert Price(Debbie) and Perry Price(Kelly), numerous nieces and nephews, and his daily joy which are his horse, Oola Smooth and his dogs, Dixie and Jimmy Dean. There will be no formal visitation, but the family is gathering at his residence in Mitchell County. Everyone is invited to stay for food and fellowship after the Celebration of Life on Tuesday.
