Doris Escobar-Torres

Mrs. Doris Phelps Escobar-Torres, 65, of Albany, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 at her home. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 24, 2018 at LifeSpring Church, 320 Fussell Rd. Leesburg, GA, 31763. Pastor Mark Knight will officiate and the family will receive friends following the service at the church. Born June 9, 1953 in Columbus, Doris was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Ona Cook Phelps. She worked in the restaurant industry for many years and was a member of LifeSpring Church. She loved her family and friends dearly and will be greatly missed. Survivors include her children, Thomas Lloyd Kirkland of Baconton, Sarah Gill and Debra Odum both of Albany; 2 brothers, Courtney and Donald; 4 sisters, Peggy, Gail, Faye and Tish; 2 grandchildren, Jeremy and Cassidy and 3 great-grandchildren, Kaylei, JJ, and Kolby.
