Mrs. Doris Joann Hynes, 77, of Albany, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015 at Phoebe Worth Hospital in Sylvester. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 4, 2015 at Floral Memory Gardens. Rev. Robin Chaplin will officiate. Born on April 8, 1938 in Moultrie, Mrs. Hynes was the daughter of the late Carl Plymal and Mammie Boyd Plymal. She was a hearing impaired teacher with the Dougherty County School System for many years. Sewing, gardening and cooking were among some of her favorite hobbies, but her family was most dear to her heart. She was of the Baptist faith and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hynes was preceded in death by her husband, E. Elsworth Hynes. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Delayne and Louis Hardin of Worth County, Delores White of Augusta, Patricia and Kenny Monfort of Albany and Yvonne and AL Mims of Augusta; son, Allan Hynes of Worth County; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Hall Hall Funeral Home from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday, December 3, 2015.
