Dorothy Lee Argo

Mrs. Dorothy Lee Argo, 89, of Putney, peacefully passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 14, 2019 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Mr. Stanley Argo will officiate with entombment to follow at Crown Hill Mausoleum. Born August 8, 1929, Simpsonville, SC, Mrs. Argo was the daughter of the late Dee and Della Porter. She was a loving and faithful military wife who adored her family. She enjoyed the beach and collecting seashells. Mrs. Argo loved Jesus and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Putney for many years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Argo was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 69 years, GySgt Roy Burns Argo. Survivors include her children, Debbie L. Simpson and David R. Argo both of Albany and Grady W. Argo of Mulberry, FL; 6 grandchildren, Micheal, Misty, Russell, Jason, Erin and John and 14 great-grandchildren.
