Doyle E Williamson

Mr. Doyle E. Williamson, 82, of Albany, passed away on September 27, 2011 at Palmyra Medical Centers. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Floral Memory Gardens. Minister James Parker will officiate. Born April 13, 1929 in Lake Butler, FL, Mr. Williamson was the son of the late Steven Williamson and Lennie Williamson. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was a member of the Moose Lodge. He will be greatly missed by all his loved ones. He attended Dawson Church of Christ. Survivors include his brothers, Everett Williamson of Live Oak, FL and Colan Williamson of Ocalla, FL; Kathy Goforth that he considered his granddaughter of Albany; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Williamson was preceded in death by his sisters, Ina Blackwelder and Elsie Cole. The family will receive friends at Hall and Hall Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
