Earl B. Bridges

Mr. Earl B. Bridges, 66, of Albany, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 10, 2018 in the Poulan Cemetery in Worth County with Rev. Mike Trull officiating. Born January 6, 1952 in Sylvester, Earl was raised by Lizzie and Jud Bridges. He worked for many years at Flint River Textiles and enjoyed the outdoors. He never met a stranger and loved all of his family and friends. He enjoyed joy riding and sitting on his porch. He was of the Christian faith. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Douglas Bridges; sons, Earl Eugene Bridges (Glenda) and James Earl Bridges all of Albany; brothers, Johnny Wayne Childers (Joyce) and David Childers (Deborah) all of Worth County; sisters, Wanda Faye Bloodsworth and Geneva Enfinger (Steve) all of Mitchell County and Rudy Ferguson (Rick) of Albany; 8 grandchildren, Matthew, Jessica, Kimberly, Taylor, Jana, Ivey, Kaylee and Tiffany and 8 great-grandchildren.
