Earl M. Pilcher

Mr. Earl Myers Pilcher, 90, of Albany, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Palmyra Nursing Home. A private family gathering will take place at the family’s home. Mr. Pilcher was born October 13, 1919 in Ellaville, GA. to the late Emmett Wilson Pilcher and Cora Irene Pilcher. He was a veteran of World War II, where he served in an Army Field Hospital operating in Italy and in the Philippine Islands. He was a member of the Albany Gospel Chapel. Left to cherish his memory is his son, Earl M. Pilcher, Jr. and one granddaughter, Jessica A. Pilcher. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Bertye S. Pilcher who passed away in 1977.
