Eldora (Sellers) Harrell

February 9, 1936 — June 28, 2012

Eldora Harrell, 76, of Albany passed away Thursday, June 28th at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 11AM Monday in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Kimball Cemetery in Anderson City. The Rev. Matthew Harrell will officiate. A native of Norman Park, GA, Mrs. Harrell worked for 32 years in the lunch room in the Dougherty County School System. She was a member of the Eastern Star for over 50 years and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Harrell was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Minnie Sellers; four sisters, Irene Bryant, Minnie Lee Bass, Lois Simmons, and Odessa Sellers; and six brothers, Curtis Sellers, Carlos Sellers, Silas Sellers, Cecil Sellers, Donnie Sellers, and Homer Sellers. Mrs. Harrell is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, John Harrell; two daughters, Kay Register and Pam Allman; two sons, Dave Harrell and Matthew Harrell; a sister, Ann Carroll; a brother, Luther Sellers; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Hall and Hall Funeral Home Sunday from 3 PM until 5 PM. Hall and Hall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
