Elizabeth Annette Umbarger

Mrs. Elizabeth Annette Umbarger, 71, of Poulan, GA, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM, Monday, June 13, 2016 at Lighthouse Ministries. Pastor Chris E. Turner will officiate with interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. Born March 20, 1945 in Poulan, GA, Mrs. Umbarger was the daughter of the late Rufus and Janie Statham Carter. Ann as she was known by most loved everyone and enjoyed listening and talking to her friends. She worked for many years at Coats and Clark as an inspector. She loved her church and church family at Lighthouse Ministries and will be greatly missed by all. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edward Umbarger; son, Paul Edward Umbarger Jr. and special friend, Glenda Carol Fuller. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Charlene Carter of Albany; sister, Faye Hurst of Poulan; grandson that she adored Paul “Little Paul” Edward III and several nieces and nephews.
