Ella Lucille Watson

February 22, 1930 — April 16, 2012

Mrs. Ella Lucille Watson, 82, of Albany, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 19, 2012 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Reverends Danny Thomas, Terry Siniard and Tab Howell will officiate with interment to follow at Floral Memory Gardens. Born on February 22, 1930 in Sylvester, Georgia, Mrs. Watson was the daughter of the late Cleve Troy Watson and the late Ella Lee Watson. She worked for many years as a yarn winder for Coats and Clark. Even in her later years she still enjoyed exercising at a local gym and was an avid card player. Mrs. Watson was a dedicated member of Sunnyside Baptist Church and the Fidelis Sunday School Class. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Shirley Thomas of Thomasville; daughter, Melinda Thomas of Tallahassee, FL; sisters and one brother-in-law, Erline Easters and Ella Mae Douglas and husband, Gilbert all of Albany; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
