Gary Thomas Phillips

Mr. Gary Thomas Phillips, 65, of Albany, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Pruitt Health Palmyra. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Oakview Cemetery. Rev. Bill Suggs will officiate and the family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery. Born July 2, 1950 in Albany Mr. Phillips was the son of the late Bruce and Edna Griffin Phillips. He worked for several years as a truck driver and enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his brother, James Phillips of Alabama; special cousin, Dannetter Kaupp of Albany and several other cousins, Lisa S. Holden and Toni E. Holden both of Adairsville, Karl Vankupp of Waynesville, N.C. , Stephanie M. Miles, Omanie M. Miles and Steven C. Niesielowski all of Albany and Nick Niesielowski of Jefferson, GA.
