George Sr. Glass

Mr. George Milton Glass Sr., 59, of Albany, passed away Friday, October 8, 2010 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 11, 2010 at the graveside of Floral Memory Gardens. Mr. Glass was born July 24, 1951 in Fort Benning, Ga. He served his country in the Air Force and worked as a truck driver for many years. Fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren were the things he enjoyed most. He was known as anbsp;handy man who could fix almost anything. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his mother, Eloise Warren Hart of Albany; wife, Elise Glass of Albany; sons, James Glass and wife, Lisa of Albany and George Glass, Jr. of Albany; daughter, Cherri Holloway and husband, Thomas of Baconton; sister, Glenda Kay Reber and husband, Richard of Albany and nine grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m., at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
