Geraldine Flowers Sadler

Mrs. Geraldine Flowers Sadler, 81, of Albany, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, October 28, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Dr. Ron Baxley and Rev. Bobby Harrell will officiate. Interment will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery. Born October 23, 1931 in Pelham, Mrs. Sadler was the daughter of the late Thomas Flowers and the late Bobbie Connell Flowers. She enjoyed fishing, bingo, liked the Braves and was a wonderful cook. She worked and enjoyed playing soft ball for Coats and Clarks in the earlier years of her life. She not only raised her own children, but had a big hand in raising her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two children, Larry and Rodney Sadler; two brothers, Bill and Junior Flowers and one granddaughter, Katrina Sadler. Survivors include her husband, John Sadler, Jr.; children, John Thomas and Barbara Sadler Panama City, FL., Steve and Barbara Sadler of Sylvester, Ann and the late Alford D. Worley of Chipley FL., Billy and Willie Sadler of Leesburg, Gene and Dot Sadler of Putney, Danny Sadler and Becky of Cordele, Bobby Dean Sadler of Putney and Donald Ray Sadler of Pensacola, FL.; 21 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one sister, Frances Justice of Albany; several nieces; nephews; numerous friends at Douglas Landing in Wewa, FL. and special friends, Buddy and Alice Burgess of Pensacola, FL. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Hall and Hall Funeral home. The family will be at 121 Cypress Lane Leesburg, GA. 31763.
