Mrs. Gladys Louise Freeman 82, of Shellman formerly of Albany passed away Friday, July 15, 2011 at the Willson Hospice House. The Funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Monday, July 18, 2011, in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Reverend Olin Johnson will officiate with internment to follow at Floral Memory Gardens. Mrs. Freeman was born December 19, 1928 in Ashburn, GA to the late James and Nancy Paramore. Mrs. Freeman loved gardening and fishing and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Fred Freeman and her brothers, James and W.H. Paramore; and her sisters, Lillie Mae Lawson, Rosa Lee Strickland, and Elizabeth McCulock. Survivors include her daughters; Pat Firth and her husband Joe, and Debbie Houston and her husband Earl both of Shellman; her son Joseph Coleman of Moorland KY; her step sons, Ronnie McCranie of Ocilla, Randy McCranie of Albany, and Tim McCranie of Moultrie; her eight grandchildren, Mark Bridges, Shane Bridges, Matthew Houston, Chris Coleman, Gary Coleman, Keith Coleman, Tammy Bryan, and Dara Houston; and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Hall Hall Funeral Home.
