Glenace (Moore ) Matthews

Ms. Glenace Moore Matthews, 70, of Albany, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 19, 2017 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Rev. Anna Miller will officiate and interment will follow in the Providence Cemetery in Worth County. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 Monday evening at the funeral home. Born November 15, 1947 in Albany, Ms. Matthews was the daughter of the late Quinton and Frances Hall Moore. She retired from Bell South and was an avid Braves fan. She enjoyed cooking for her family and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She attended Beulah United Methodist Church and formerly attended Albany First Church of the Nazarene for many years. In addition to her parents, Ms. Matthews was preceded in death by her son, Sonny Matthews and infant twin boys. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Laura Barnes and Jimmy of Tifton; brother, Hubert Moore; sister and brother-in-law, Lobelia Loudenbarger and Kevin; two grandchildren, Evan and Chloe; several nieces and nephews.
