Grady Leroy Bodiford

Mr. Grady Leroy Bodiford, 55, of Albany, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. A private family service will be conducted at New Home Freewill Baptist Church in Colquitt. Born March 9, 1962 in Donalsonville, Mr. Bodiford was the son of the late John Thomas Bodiford, Jr. and Lucille Cross Bodiford. He worked in construction for many years and was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed listening to music and fishing. More than anything he loved being with his family. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bodiford was preceded in death by his daughter, Cerissa Shea Bodiford and brother, Richard Edward Bodiford. Survivors include his son, Thomas Earl Bodiford of Albany; brother, Thomas Coleman Bodiford and Barbara of Box Springs, GA; sisters, Deborah Hogg and David of Warner Robins, Priscilla Dianne Martin of Putney, Rhonda Bryant and David of Albany and Melissa Merritt and Judd of Sylvester; 3 grandchildren, Richard, Jayden and Jax and several nieces and nephews.
