Mr. Hal A. Worley, Sr., 77, of Albany, passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 at his home. Services honoring the life of Mr. Worley will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 1, 2017 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Rev. Jason Spears and Rev. Josh Copron will officiate. Born September 13, 1939 in Valdosta, Mr. Worley was the son of the late Charles and Hallie Bamberg Worley. He graduated from Valdosta High School and received a bachelor degree in arts form Valdosta State in 1962. He retired as an insurance adjuster and spent the rest of his days loving his family and friends. Mr. Worley loved playing golf, traveling, cruising and seeing God’s beautiful creation. He was active in his community and many in Albany will miss his sense of humor and humble spirit. He enjoyed keeping up with all his friends on social media and cared deeply for his loved ones. Hal was a faithful member of Providence Church of Albany. In addition to his parents, Mr. Worley was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shervie Jean Page Worley who passed away February 15, 2015 and his brother Charles Worley, Jr. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Hal A. Worley, Jr. and Lahoma of Chelsea, AL; daughter and son-in-law, Marcy Ross and Ken of Fayetteville, TN; step-daughters, Donna Allen of Leesburg and Tracey Carrington of Panama City, FL; grandchildren, Natalie Worley, Allison Worley, Victor Ross, Brandon Allen, Chase Allen and Brittany McCullough.
