Herman Lee Crews

Mr. Herman Lee Crews, 59, of Baconton, passed away, Monday, January 6, 2014 at his home. Born December 31, 1954 in Ocilla, GA, Mr. Crews was the son of the late Jerry Lee Crews and Clara Mae Davis Crews. He enjoyed watching westerns and loved his old Chevy trucks. A big fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr., Mr. Crews was known as a hard worker who loved his grand babies with all his heart. In addition to his parents, Mr. Crews was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Crews. Survivors include his loving wife of 27 years, Denise Crews of Baconton; children, Charles Crews, NeCole Crews, Kayla (Timothy Brooks) Crews and Jerry Crews; 4 grandchildren, Jayda Crews, Jasmine Crews, Caleb Crews and Ashton Brooks; 2 brothers, Gerald (Sandra) Crews of Nashville, GA. and Jerry (Lisa) Heflin of Sylvester, GA. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, January 10, 2014 at Unity Baptist Church in Sylvester.
