Irma J. Clark

Irma Jean Clark, 64, of Leesburg passed away, Wednesday December 16, 2009 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Services honoring the life of Mrs. Clark will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 19, 2009 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Reverend Randy Daniel will officiate and Mrs. Clarkrsquo;s remains will be cremated. Irma Jean Clark was born January 15, 1945 in Calhoun County, daughter of the late James Jackson Miller and Fannie Elizabeth Hinton Miller. She worked for over thirty years as a federal state inspector and was of the Christian faith. Mrs. Clark enjoyed camping, cooking for her grandchildren and many considered her pound cake to be the very best. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Survivors include her daughter, Sylvia Howell of Leesburg; sister, Peggy Harrell and her husband, Jack of Leesburg; 3 grandchildren, Jay, Jr., Alexis and Elizabeth; 2 nieces; 5 nephews; 4 great-nieces and 3 great-nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday following the service at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
