Jack Martin Webb

Mr. Jack Martin Webb, 72, of Mitchell County, peacefully passed away on the evening of Saturday, June 1, 2024.

A private memorial service for the family only will be held at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.

Born April 24, 1952, in Washington, NC, he was the son of the late Jay and Esther Anderson Webb. He worked for Coke as a technician and retired after many faithful years. Jack had a passion for antique cars and loved working on them and attending car shows when he was able. He was a "jack of all trades" and earned certifications in HVAC and refrigeration. He was known as a perfectionist and could fix just about anything. Jack was willing to help anyone in need and would give the shirt off of his back, even in his sickness. He and his wife were members of Mercedes Baptist Church. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Buddy Webb; his grandson, Jakob Rehberg; and his father-in-law, Eddie Smith.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Edith Webb of Mitchell County; three children, Martina Rehberg (Jeremy) of Glynn County, Denise Lairsey (Chris) of Lee County, and Paul Webb (Yuly) of Lee County; 12 grandchildren; and his mother-in-law, Maria Smith of Mitchell County.

Hall and Hall Funeral Home was given the honor to serve the Webb family.
