James Daniel 'Danny' Starnes

Mr. James Daniel “Danny” Starnes, 67, of Albany passed away Monday, July 8, 2013 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in the Chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. The Reverend Jimmy Hagadorn will officiate with interment to follow in the Leesburg Cemetery. Born May 26, 1946 in Concord, N.C., Mr. Starnes was the son of the late John Starnes and the late Mary Louise Long. He worked for many years as a truck driver and had also worked as a dispatcher. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Starnes was preceded in death by his son, James Scott Starnes. Survivors include his wife, Faye Starnes of Albany; son, Wayne Starnes of Sylvester; daughter, Cindy Moody of Gasden, AL; four grandchildren, Tyler, Danielle, Reed and Emma. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Hall Hall Funeral Home.
