Mr. James Dewayne Jarrell, 74, of Albany, passed away Monday, April 04, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2016 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Rev. Matthew Stone will officiate with interment to follow at Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Doerun. Born June 1, 1941 in Mitchell County, Mr. Jarrell was the son of the late Rev. James W. and Evelyn Wingate Jarrell. He retired from American Customs Millworks, enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family that he so loved. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Erma Jean Dickerson Jarrell; children, Ricky (Sandy) Jarrell of Worth County, Stacy (Regina) Jarrell of Doerun, Wayne (Lora) Selph of Putney, Shirley Apaka of Moultrie and Larry (Helen) Selph of Byron; sister, Janice Jarrell Cumbie of Leesburg and Eugene Jarrell of Paterson, GA; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
