Jane Laura (Bowden) Kimbrell

Mrs. Jane Laura Bowden Kimbrell, 77, of Albany, went home to be with the Lord on December 13, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Southside Baptist Church, 1415 Radium Springs Rd. Albany, GA. Rev. William A. Suggs will officiate with interment to follow at Floral Memory Gardens. Jane was born in Lakeland, Florida on April 6, 1937 to the late Joseph and Mattie Laura Bowden. She drove a school bus for the Dougherty County School System for approximately fourteen years. She worked for Coveris Packaging Company for twenty four years. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kimbrell was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Kay Hartman; two brothers, Joseph and Raymond Bowden and two sisters, Ethyl Smith and Dorothy Jean Bowden. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Herbert Ray Kimbrell (Renee) of Albany; one granddaughter, Amber Joy Kimbrell and a special sister in the Lord, Dannetter W. Kaupp. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.
