Janet Denise (Stone) Ramsey

Mrs. Janet Denise Ramsey, 55, of Albany, passed away, Friday, January 23, 2015 at her home. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 29, 2015 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Rev. Ralph Honre, Sr., Rev. Mark Fulford and Rev. Flora Ramsey will officiate with interment to follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery. Born October 9, 1959 in Valdosta, Janet was the daughter of J.B. Stone and Mary Nell Henderson. She was a homemaker and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother grandmother and sister. Survivors include her husband, Timothy “Mark” Ramsey of Albany; mother, Mary Nell Stone of Albany; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Funderburk Jr. (Kimberly) of Albany; brothers, Jessie Richard Chambers Jr. (Pam) of Baconton, James Carlton Stone (Mary) of Albany; sister, Jo Ann Cannon (Wilbur) of Albany, mother-in-law, Rev. Flora Ramsey and 4 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 Wednesday evening at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
