Janet Louise LaRue Edwards

Mrs. Janet Louise LaRue Edwards, 77, of Sylvester, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Willson Hospice House, in Albany.

Born on March 20, 1947, in Greenville, SC, Janet was the daughter of the late Oscar and Gladys Hale LaRue. She worked in the medical field for several years in supply and was of the Baptist faith. Her greatest joy in life was her family and she will be greatly missed by them all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Milton Edwards; and two sisters, Delores Nix, and Carol Snipes.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Keith and Sheryl Edwards of Sylvester; grandson, Christopher Edwards and Bethany of Hahira; and 4 great-grandchildren, Lillian, Joanna, Penelope, and Lachlan.

In accordance with the wishes of Mrs. Edwards she will be cremated, and the family will host a memorial service at a later date.
