Mr. Jason Cole Throneberry, 42, of Albany went home to be with the Lord on Monday July 2, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 6, 2012 at Liberty Parkway Church of God 1501 Schley Ave. Albany, GA. Reverend Ralph Horne and Reverend Joseph W. Jones will officiate. Mr. Throneberry’s remains will be cremated following the service. Born May 26, 1970 in Camilla, Mr. Throneberry loved life and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jason had recently rededicated his life to the Lord at the Liberty Parkway Church of God and had joined the choir. Jason and his family were such a blessing to the church and his smile and commitment to the Lord will be forever remembered. Jason worked in the meat department at Publix of Leesburg where he never met a stranger. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is now singing in Heaven’s choir and is thanking the Lord for His love. Survivors include his loving wife, Libby Dale Griffin Throneberry; mother, Linda Sue Spicer; daughters, Amy Sumner of Albany and Hailee Hunter of Lancaster, S.C.; son, Timothy James Sumner II and wife, Ashley of Ocilla, GA; granddaughter, Alliyah Sumner; brothers, Jody and Tonya Throneberry of Lakeland, GA and Billy Spicer of Cecil, GA; brother-in-law, Max Griffin; sister-in-law, Dixie Griffin; Libby’s parents, Dale and Jennifer Griffin of Tifton; several nieces, nephews, cousins and his Liberty Parkway family. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Liberty Parkway Church of God.
