Jeff Lester Connell

Mr. Jeff Lester Connell, 73, of Sylvester, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2011 at his home. Born December 20, 1937 in Moultrie, Mr. Connell was the son of the late William Henry Connell and Lottie Mae Anderson Connell. He worked in construction for many years and had worked with LRA Construction Company. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Mr. Connell was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-six years, Mrs. Elizabeth Parrish Connell; daughters, Sharon and Mark Kemp of Reno NE, Patricia and Steve Pearson of Leesburg, Jean and James McGlamory of Fairview, NC, and Cynthia and Johnny Phillips of Albany; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildern and one sister, Ruth Ward of Jacksonville, FL. Mr. Connell has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Hall and Hall Funeral Home of Albany is in charge of the arrangements.
