Mr. Jesse Richard Chambers, Jr., 69, of Baconton, passed away, Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Rev. Roger Tillery and Rev. Mark Fulford will officiate with interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. Born April 25, 1945, in Tifton, Mr. Chambers was the son of Jesse Richard Chambers, Sr. and Mary Nell Stone. He was the owner of Little Red Dog House on West Broad Avenue in Albany. He was Baptist by faith and enjoyed the outdoors including farming and fishing. His family was his life and he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Mr. Chambers was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Richard Chambers, Sr. who passed away before he was born in World War 2; his dad that raised him, J. B. Stone and his sister, Janet Ramsey. Survivors include his loving wife, Pamela Jane Ewing Chambers; his mother, Mary Nell Stone of Albany; daughter and son-in-law, Diane Chambers Snapp and Harold; sons and daughter-in-law, Richard Allen Chambers and Michael and Giselle Chambers all of Baconton; brother and sister-in-law, Carlton and Mary Stone; sister and brother-in- law, Joann and Wilbur Cannon all of Albany; 6 grandchildren, Amanda, Mallory, Devon, Nicholas, Christopher and Jessica; 7 great-grandchildren, Schuyler, Hannah, Breanna, Chloe, Nick, Aiden and Blaid. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
